Dairyland Coronavirus Update

Dairyland Farm Park and Bull Pen Temporarily Closed

We are all in unprecedented times and facing uncertainty as each day brings new challenges.

Following government guidelines regarding the need to avoid all unnecessary travel and avoid social venues, we have decided to temporarily close the park and the Bull Pen. The plan is to reopen for May Half Term, depending on advice from the authorities.

Dairyland is fully committed to the health and safety of our employees, visitors and wider community of suppliers and service providers. Also, the welfare of our wonderful animals.

The animals have no idea what’s going on and still need attention and feeding daily, so we will maintain on-site staff to look after them, which at this time of the year also means looking after expectant mums.

Whilst the park is shut our key staff will continue to work behind the scenes to improve DairyLand further ready for when we re-open.

To continue to protect our staff effectively we are taking several precautionary measures:

  • Hygiene standards in-line with Public Health England
  • Only essential visitors by prior arrangement will be allowed at our offices.
  • Hand sanitisation and hand washing facilities are in place for all staff and visitors.
  • Social distancing at work where possible

We will continue to monitor the situation daily and take advice from the NHS, Government and other sources, and modify our precautions accordingly.

Our Facebook page will be regularly updated to give the latest on re-opening dates and also news on the animals and any new arrivals!

Please get in touch if you have any specific questions, concerns or just want to chat! We will always try to assist where we can.
